Umm Al Quwain authorities have seized a number of vehicles used in reckless driving on Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road, as part of an intensified campaign to enforce traffic regulations throughout the emirate. The move is targeted at ending risky behavior and making the emirate’s roads safer for all drivers.

From the traffic police, the perpetrators were apprehended for doing stunts, over speeding, and risking lives—deserving the instant response. These offenses were recorded by patrol surveillance and road monitoring devices set up along the main highway.

Authorities emphasized safe driving, with the warning that dangerous behavior does not only jeopardize the violator but also innocent users of the road. The impounded vehicles will be held in detention, and owners may be liable to heavy fines, black points, and suspensions of licenses.

Drivers have been encouraged to comply with traffic rules and drive carefully. Umm Al Quwain Police reiterated their zero-tolerance approach to traffic offenses and ensured that such operations would be carried out recurrently to deter dangerous behavior on roads.
