Reddit experienced a major outage on Thursday, leaving thousands of users unable to access the platform. According to Downdetector, a website that tracks service interruptions, the issue occurred just one day after Reddit fixed a software bug that had already affected tens of thousands of users.
Downdetector collects outage data through user reports and other sources. On Thursday, the platform recorded more than 70,000 reports of Reddit outages globally.
In the UAE, users also faced difficulties accessing Reddit. Reports from Downdetector indicated that around 300 users in the UAE reported issues, with activity peaking at 7:29 PM.
