Rooftop vibes and a Pan-Asian flair elevate dining in Dubai thanks to Nonya

Nonya, a vibrant Pan-Asian restaurant and social supper club atop the 44th floor of Taj Jumeirah Lakes Towers, is redefining Dubai’s culinary and nightlife scene with a blend of rich Southeast Asian flavours, dramatic interiors, and sky-high allure.

Infusing strong Singaporean and Peranakan influences, Nonya’s menu—crafted by Singapore-trained Head Chef Kong Sieng Yeuh—ranges from bold Laksa, Assam prawns, Black Cod, Beef Rendang, to fusion robata grills and sushi. The focus is authenticity with a modern twist: “Nonya is a culture… blending aesthetics, flavours, specially imported ingredients… into surprising yet comforting dishes”.

The restaurant seamlessly shifts from elegant, sunny days to gloomy, private evenings. A private bar, glass-bubble chandeliers, velvet couches, floral themes, and lush vegetation are some of the design elements that contribute to the opulent atmosphere. Indoor lounges and al fresco terraces offer sweeping skyline views of Emirates Golf Club and Dubai Internet City.

Nonya doubles as a dynamic nightlife hub, hosting after-work deals (Dh98 for drinks and bar bites), themed nights like “Dim Sum Wednesdays,” Latin and ladies’ nights, and its flagship Nocturnya party brunch. With deep-house DJs, performances, creative mixology, and curated events, it’s fast emerging as JLT’s go-to destination for social dining and entertainment.
