The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai has enhanced the capabilities of its Nol card by adding the option to pay for e-scooter rides. This update simplifies the process for both residents and visitors who wish to utilize eco-friendly transportation throughout the city. Users can now unlock and pay for rides on e-scooters from RTA-approved providers just by tapping their Nol cards.

This initiative is part of the RTA’s commitment to improving public transport options and encouraging the use of environmentally friendly travel methods in Dubai. By integrating e-scooter payments with Nol cards, the RTA aims to motivate more individuals to opt for sustainable transportation, thereby decreasing dependence on conventional vehicles and supporting the city’s overall sustainability objectives.

Now, users can effortlessly transition between various transport modes, such as buses, metro, and e-scooters, all with a single Nol card, providing enhanced convenience and flexibility.

This initiative is in line with Dubai’s Vision 2030, which focuses on promoting sustainable urban mobility and minimizing the city’s carbon emissions.
