RTA Issues Warning for Traffic Delays Ahead of Dubai Rugby 7s

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has alerted drivers about possible traffic delays on Dubai-Al Ain Road due to the Dubai Rugby 7s event.

The event will take place from Friday, November 29, to Sunday, December 1. Traffic delays are expected during specific hours:

  • Friday, November 29: Between 4 PM and 11 PM
  • Saturday, November 30: Between 10 AM and midnight
  • Sunday, December 1: Between 10 AM and midnight

The Dubai Rugby 7s is a major highlight in the UAE’s sporting and social calendar. It attracts some of the best teams in the world, with 12 men’s and 12 women’s teams competing over two thrilling days of rugby action.

This annual event has been a key part of the global rugby sevens calendar since 1999. It isn’t just about rugby, the festival also includes an exciting mix of music, entertainment, and activities for all attendees. Visitors can enjoy a vibrant atmosphere packed with energy, world-class games, and plenty of family-friendly fun.
