Saudi authorities have unveiled the dedication of special gates at the Grand Mosque in Mecca aimed at facilitating smooth entry and exit for pilgrims as Ramadan sets in. The development is geared to improve crowd management and ensure smooth worship experiences for the millions expected at the site.

Now with Ramadan approaching, preparation is in a full swing towards the General Presidency for Affairs of the two Holy Mosques to address the increasing throngs of worshippers. Here, Security personnel and Volunteers will remain at key accesses to keep the pilgrim flow efficient as well as ward off congestion.”

Officials have called on the faithful to follow designated routes and observe safety regulations to ensure order within the mosque’s premises. The plan includes enhanced cleaning operations, expanded prayer areas, and increased transportation services to assist pilgrims throughout the holy month.

As the spiritual significance of Ramadan draws pilgrims from all corners of the globe, Saudi Arabia is still devising advanced crowd control strategies to ensure a safe and fulfilling pilgrimage experience in Islam’s holiest site.
