In its Ramadan 2025 preparations, Saudi Arabia has rolled out a unified online platform for the coordination of transportation services for pilgrims traveling to the Grand Mosque in Mecca. The move is aimed at improving the pilgrimage experience by offering an effective, easy-to-use system that facilitates smooth flow within the sacred site.

The site provides various transportation means, enabling pilgrims to pick from a range of services according to their preferences. These are shuttle buses, electric carts, and walkways to facilitate crowd control and decongestion during peak prayer and ritual periods.

Apart from transportation services, the platform also gives advice on carrying out Umrah and other religious practices, making sure that pilgrims have proper information along the way. The action is in accordance with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, which aims at enhancing pilgrimage experiences through innovation and technology.

Pilgrims are able to use the platform through mobile devices, allowing them to organize their movements beforehand and get real-time information on transport timetables and crowd levels. Through this digital revolution, Saudi authorities aim to offer a safer, better-organized, and more spiritually rewarding experience for millions of pilgrims throughout the holy month.
