Saudi Crown Prince Arrives in UAE on Special Private Tour

Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, recently arrived in the UAE for a private visit, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency.

He was warmly welcomed at the airport by UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Later, at Al Rawda Palace in Al Ain, the two leaders engaged in discussions highlighting the strong and historic ties between their nations. The UAE President also hosted a dinner in honor of the Saudi Crown Prince.

During the visit, Prince Mohammed congratulated President Sheikh Mohamed on the UAE’s 53rd National Day, wishing the country continued success and progress. Their discussions also covered key regional developments. They emphasized the need for joint Arab efforts to maintain regional stability and reiterated the importance of achieving lasting peace through the “two-state solution.”

This visit marks the Saudi Crown Prince’s first trip to the UAE in three years. His previous visit was in 2021, during which he spent two days in Abu Dhabi and was received by Sheikh Mohamed, who was then the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi.

Earlier this year, Prince Mohammed extended an invitation to Sheikh Mohamed to attend the Arab-Islamic Summit in Riyadh. The leaders of Saudi Arabia and the UAE have consistently highlighted the deep bonds of friendship and shared vision for regional prosperity. On Saudi National Day, the UAE President reaffirmed the enduring relationship between the two nations.

The two countries maintain strong collaboration, focusing on development and mutual growth for their peoples—a sentiment also echoed by UAE Vice-President and Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum in September 2024.
