Sharjah authorities have announced free parking across the emirate during Eid Al Adha, along with a major ramp-up in inspections to ensure public safety and comfort during the holiday. As part of the initiative, 28 veterinarians will be deployed to inspect livestock, particularly at designated slaughterhouses and markets, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
In addition to animal welfare checks, 150 inspectors will monitor food establishments, salons, and other service-related outlets, reinforcing hygiene and quality control protocols. The move comes as residents prepare for festive gatherings, with Sharjah Municipality aiming to maintain a high level of public trust.
This proactive approach also includes increased monitoring at key locations such as parks, beaches, and public venues, where large crowds are expected. Authorities are urging residents to cooperate with safety guidelines and use official channels for complaints or inquiries.
With both logistical support and public health measures in place, Sharjah is fully geared up to offer residents and visitors a safe, joyful, and well-regulated Eid celebration.
