His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Ruler of Sharjah, conducted an inspection of several major projects in Kalba, emphasizing the emirate’s commitment to tourism, environmental sustainability, and recreational development.

During the visit, His Highness reviewed ongoing infrastructure enhancements, including eco-tourism sites, nature reserves, and waterfront developments, aimed at positioning Kalba as a leading destination for nature and adventure tourism. The projects also focus on preserving biodiversity and boosting local economic growth.

One of the key highlights was the inspection of green spaces, beachside facilities, and cultural landmarks, which are designed to enhance quality of life and leisure opportunities for both residents and visitors. Investments in modern road networks and urban expansion were also part of the review.

The Sharjah government remains dedicated to sustainable urban planning, ensuring that Kalba’s natural beauty and heritage are preserved while promoting eco-friendly tourism and recreational activities. These initiatives reinforce Sharjah’s vision of balanced development and environmental conservation.
