Dubai made history today as 278,000 runners from various backgrounds turned Sheikh Zayed Road into the largest running track in the world during Dubai Run 2024. The event, spearheaded by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, was a vibrant celebration of health, fitness, and community spirit.

In a post on his X account, Sheikh Hamdan shared his appreciation,

“278,000 runners. Thank you Dubai for making a lifetime of memories.”

This year’s event saw a 23% increase in participation compared to last year, reinforcing Dubai Run’s status as one of the largest community fitness initiatives globally. Residents and visitors united, demonstrating that fitness transcends all boundaries.
