President Sheikh Mohamed met with Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mohammed, the grandson of Dubai Ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, to congratulate him on graduating from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in the UK.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mohammed made history as the first Emirati graduate to win both the Sword of Honour for international students and first place in academic and military studies at the academy. This recognition highlights his exceptional achievements and dedication.
The Sword of Honour, sponsored by the State of Kuwait in memory of Sheikh Ali Al Sabah, represents a significant accomplishment in Sheikh Mohammed’s military journey and establishes him among the elite graduates of Sandhurst.
The meeting was held at Qasr Al Bahr in Abu Dhabi. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence, joined the discussion. He expressed pride in Sheikh Mohammed’s achievements and praised Emirati youth for their perseverance and commitment, showcasing a positive image of the UAE on global platforms.
Sheikh Hamdan emphasized that this achievement proves the nation’s ability to excel academically and practically, wishing Sheikh Mohammed continued success in serving the country.
In response, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mohammed expressed his gratitude to the UAE President, stating that the encouragement inspires him to remain determined and dedicated in his future endeavors.
