National Focus on Families
The move aligns with directives from UAE President Sheikh Mohamed, who stressed the importance of creating national programs to promote family formation, enhance growth, and boost fertility rates. The new ministry will focus on addressing these priorities.
Key Responsibilities of the Ministry
Sheikh Mohammed outlined the main tasks for the Ministry of Family:

- Proposing initiatives to increase fertility rates among Emirati families.
- Reducing family breakdown risks and addressing their social impacts.
- Preparing couples for marriage and supporting them through marriage grants and programs.

Renaming of Another Ministry
