In a significant philanthropic initiative, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has launched the Fathers’ Endowment Campaign ahead of Ramadan. The initiative establishes a Dh1 billion sustainable endowment fund, dedicated to honoring fathers and supporting charitable causes across the nation.
The endowment aims to provide ongoing humanitarian and social assistance, ensuring that fathers’ contributions and sacrifices are eternally remembered through acts of giving. This campaign aligns with the UAE’s vision of fostering a culture of gratitude and benevolence, particularly during the holy month of Ramadan.
Sheikh Mohammed emphasized that the initiative reflects the country’s deep-rooted values of respect and appreciation for family figures, particularly fathers who have played pivotal roles in shaping generations. The endowment will support a wide range of charitable activities, from education and healthcare to social welfare projects, benefiting communities both locally and globally.
The Fathers’ Endowment Campaign encourages public and corporate participation, allowing individuals to contribute in honor of their fathers. With this initiative, the UAE continues to strengthen its reputation as a global leader in humanitarian efforts, setting an example for sustainable and meaningful philanthropy.
