Sheikh Mohammed Pays Tribute to Sheikh Zayed’s Legacy on the 20th Anniversary of His Passing

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, shared a heartfelt tribute on social media, highlighting Sheikh Zayed’s lasting impact. He shared poetic expressions and a moving message.

Sheikh Mohammed conveyed how Sheikh Zayed “brought life to others”. He exemplifies the qualities of a true leader. He believed that his Good qualities of leadership will continue to inspire future generations.

Sheikh Mohammed posted a touching message on X. He reflected on the essence of Sheikh Zayed’s legacy through poetry. He praised him in the following words: “May God bless the founder, the leader, the immortal father, Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and grant him paradise. May his deeds and the goodness for his people balance his good works.”

He also shared a poem he had composed on the 10th anniversary of Sheikh Zayed’s death. This death evoked a profound sense of respect and admiration. He compared Sheikh Zayed to a guiding light for Arabs. He considered him a foundation of the UAE’s advancement. The poetry emphasizes Sheikh Zayed’s humility, kindness, and noble vision.

In his tribute, Sheikh Mohammed portrayed Sheikh Zayed as a “king”. His attributes included the wisdom of a sheikh and the piety of a prophet.
