During the celebration of Emirati Children’s Day, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, stressed the country’s commitment to the welfare, education, and development of children. He underscored the UAE’s ongoing efforts in creating an environment of growth, creativity, and excellence among young Emiratis.

Sheikh Mohammed emphasized again that the children are the future of the country and their rights, health, and education are a top priority. He underlined the need to impart knowledge, values, and opportunities to them so that they can become future leaders who can meaningfully contribute to society. His vision is part of the UAE’s larger efforts, which aim at early childhood development, digital learning, and innovative education reforms.

The Emirati Children’s Day festivities throughout the nation included several events and programs aimed at promoting awareness of children’s rights and their central role in building the UAE’s future. Governmental institutions, schools, and organizations came together to promote activities that ensure children’s mental, emotional, and physical well-being.

Part of his pledge, Sheikh Mohammed also called upon the community to become active guardians of and agents of empowerment for children, ensuring all children in the UAE get the support they need to reach their full potential. His appeal fell deep within the hearts of parents, educators, and policymakers alike, cementing the UAE’s status as a world leader in child development and welfare.
