Dubai’s New Year’s Eve 2025 was a night to remember, with fireworks lighting up 36 locations across the city. Millions gathered to celebrate, while many people worked behind the scenes to make sure everything ran smoothly.

As the world welcomed 2025, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, thanked the hard-working teams that made the event a success. He especially thanked the Events Security Committee, which included 55 government agencies, ensuring a safe and smooth celebration for all.

The celebrations captivated millions from 190 countries, and Sheikh Mohammed called Dubai “the city of the world,” showcasing the city as a global example of tolerance and coexistence. He expressed gratitude to everyone who attended, interacted, and celebrated with Dubai.

The spectacular New Year’s Eve event featured stunning fireworks, cultural performances, and futuristic drone shows. Iconic landmarks like the Burj Khalifa lit up with incredible visuals, cementing Dubai’s place as a top destination for year-end celebrations.

While the party was grand, safety was a top priority. The Events Security Committee took extra measures to keep the celebrations safe, managing traffic flow and overseeing yacht events. Dubai Police set up 33 support tents for visitors, providing services like “Lost and Found” and first aid, with 1,800 medical staff across six hospitals and clinics.

In addition, a fully equipped field hospital near Burj Khalifa was available for medical emergencies, with specialized teams ready to help. Hundreds of police officers worked tirelessly to ensure pedestrian safety and managed road closures, giving everyone a smooth and secure celebration.
