Sheikh Zayed Road to Close as Dubai Run Transforms Cityscape

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced that Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai’s busiest highway, will be closed to vehicles on Sunday, November 24, 2024, for the fifth edition of the Dubai Run. The closure will take place from the Trade Centre Roundabout to Al Qusais between 3:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., turning this iconic road into a vast running track.

Extended Metro Timings
The Dubai Metro will extend its operating hours during the event to ensure smooth movement and easy participation. This initiative reflects Dubai’s dedication to fostering a healthy and active lifestyle for residents and visitors.

The Dubai Run, part of the annual Dubai Fitness Challenge, is anticipated to draw tens of thousands of participants of all ages and fitness levels, making it one of the city’s most-awaited fitness events.
