Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chief of The Big Heart Foundation (TBHF), has unveiled two significant humanitarian initiatives to safeguard more than 30,000 vulnerable children in Zanzibar and Mexico. The campaign is centered on child safety, education, health, and legal protection.
The Zanzibar project will enhance support and shelter for street-connected children and orphans through food, psychosocial support, and reintegration programs. The approach in Mexico is to establish protective systems from trafficking and exploitation, particularly for migrant and disadvantaged communities’ children.
“Sheikha Jawaher reiterated that saving one child equates to preserving an entire community’s future, reaffirming her enduring conviction in empowerment through kindness. The schemes are part of TBHF’s larger vision of connecting children in crisis worldwide with timely, life-enhancing interventions.”.
This international expansion is a testament to the UAE’s humanitarian mission and Sheikah Jawaher’s strong dedication to serving the world’s most vulnerable people. The program is a shining example of hope, one which seeks to dismantle patterns of poverty, neglect, and abuse for thousands of children.
