Experienced Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan has prophesied a record-breaking career for talented batting prodigy Shubman Gill, terming him as a “superstar in the making.” Dhawan feels that Gill can break records and become one of India’s cricketing legends. His accolades come as the 24-year-old keeps on impressing with his consistent show in all forms of the game.

During an interview, Dhawan pointed out Gill’s technical genius, temperament, and desire for runs. “He possesses all the traits of a world-class batsman. His discipline, attitude, and flexibility are a reminder of the greats,” Dhawan said. Gill has already displayed his talent with stunning performances in ODIs, Tests, and T20s, and thus is an important cog in India’s future.

While keeping an eye on Gill, Dhawan also shut down rumors regarding the fading of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, asserting that both of them have “plenty to offer” Indian cricket. “They are match-winners and have shown themselves time and again. Their experience will be instrumental in helping young players like Gill achieve greatness,” Dhawan stressed.

With the upcoming ICC events and pivotal bilateral series, Gill’s emergence, along with Kohli and Rohit, provides a strong platform for Team India. As cricket enthusiasts look forward to future landmarks, Dhawan’s endorsement joins the increasing faith that Gill might become India’s next big figure in the sport.
