ADNOC has announced the awarding of contracts worth Dh720 million ($196.2 million) for the local manufacturing of various products throughout its value chain. This announcement took place during ADNOC’s Business Partnership Forum, which was held alongside ADIPEC.
Key Highlights:
Contract Awards: A total of 11 companies received contracts, facilitated by ADNOC’s In-Country Value (ICV) programme, which supports the Make it in the Emirates (MIITE) initiative.
New Manufacturing Facilities: At ADIPEC, ADNOC’s partners opened eight new manufacturing facilities in the UAE, increasing the total number of facilities supported by the ICV program to 16 this year and 33 since the MIITE initiative was launched.
Commercial Opportunities: During the Business Partnership Forum, ADNOC outlined a variety of commercial opportunities within its value chain, urging the private sector to take advantage of these prospects and to either establish or expand manufacturing capabilities in the UAE.
Responsible Sourcing Programme: ADNOC introduced its “Responsible Sourcing Programme” aimed at enhancing transparency and promoting sustainable procurement practices throughout its supply chain.
