Sharjah Police have taken an Emirati driver into custody following a tragic multi-vehicle accident that resulted in the deaths of two Emirati brothers, aged 5 and 7. The accident, which occurred on Friday afternoon, November 8, involved four vehicles and left several others injured.

Police received reports of the collision near Al Badiya Bridge on Emirates Road. The driver reportedly lost control of his vehicle due to excessive speed in a congested lane, leading to the pile-up that injured six individuals, including two drivers and their passengers.

Emergency services, including police and National Ambulance teams, responded swiftly, with some victims suffering moderate to severe injuries being airlifted to local hospitals by the Air Wing of the General Department of Security Support at the Ministry of Interior.
