Qiddiya City, Saudi Arabia’s new entertainment capital, is about to get much wetter. The park’s debut is a key part of Saudi Arabia’s ambitious plans under Vision 2030. It aims to transform the nation into a global hub for tourism and entertainment. Aquarabia promises a world-class experience with record-breaking rides and immersive zones. The opening aligns perfectly with the festive Eid holiday. This gives families across the region an exciting new destination to celebrate.

A Grand Opening for a Grand Vision

Officials confirmed the exciting news. Abdullah Al-Dawood, Managing Director of the Qiddiya Investment Company, announced the post-Eid opening. He also revealed an ambitious schedule for Qiddiya City. A major new attraction will open in the city every three months. This gradual rollout will steadily shape Qiddiya into a complete entertainment destination. The strategy ensures there is always something new for visitors to experience.

Discover Nine Themed Zones of Adventure

Aquarabia is not a typical water park. It is a fully immersive aquatic world spread across nine uniquely themed zones. Guests can explore 22 different rides and attractions. The park features everything from sweeping slides and a lazy river to pools and areas for aquatic sports. The design draws inspiration from Saudi Arabia’s own wildlife and landscapes. This creates a one-of-a-kind experience that blends thrilling fun with local culture.

The park is set to smash world records and offer first-of-their-kind experiences. Key highlights are designed to get hearts racing. Junoon Drop will be the world’s tallest and longest water coaster. Slithereel is set to be the longest slide wheel on the planet. Speedy Jamezales will claim the title of the tallest aqualoop ride. For surfing fans, Surftopia will introduce the kingdom’s first-ever surf pool. These attractions position Aquarabia as a must-visit for thrill-seekers worldwide.

Enjoy Family Fun and Total Convenience

Aquarabia is built for a full day of enjoyment for guests of all ages. Beyond the adrenaline-pumping rides, the park includes calmer pools and leisure zones. Visitors will find 22 dining outlets and seven retail stores throughout the park. This ensures everyone can refuel and find souvenirs without leaving the fun. The park spans 250,000 square meters of immersive experiences. It is designed to be a convenient and complete day-trip destination.

Innovation Meets Sustainability in Design

The park blends cutting-edge technology with eco-friendly principles. It features advanced Wi-Fi coverage and smart locker systems for visitor convenience. Artificial intelligence (AI) will help power safety systems across the attractions. From an environmental standpoint, the park incorporates water recycling. It reuses water for irrigation and cooling systems. About 20% of the park is dedicated to “dry” attractions, live shows, and immersive experiences. This thoughtful design reduces overall water usage.

Your Guide to Visiting Aquarabia

Aquarabia has a prime location within the growing Qiddiya City. It sits right next to the recently opened Six Flags theme park. The site is about 45 kilometers from downtown Riyadh. It is approximately 70 kilometers from King Khalid International Airport. The park is designed for easy access. It features pedestrian, cycling, and jogging paths. The parking facilities will include stations for charging electric vehicles (EVs). This makes it a future-ready destination for all visitors.
