Actress Tamannaah Bhatia has at long last commented on the allegations of cryptocurrency fraud, deeming them as baseless and misleading. The reports had surfaced recently with her name tagged alongside a ₹24 million crypto scam, fueling universal speculation and uproar.

In her press release, Tamannaah pointed out that she has no role in any scam and requested the people not to be misled by baseless stories. She also said that she is seeking legal recourse against the propagators of false information. “I have never supported or been involved in any crypto-based investment scams,” she made it clear.

The scandal started when some media houses reported that Tamannaah’s name was found in a cryptocurrency scam case. But sources close to the actress confirm that she is being wrongly implicated and has no connection to the case.

Industry people and fans have rallied around Tamannaah in support, calling out the spread of unverified news. In the meantime, law enforcement continues investigating the crypto fraud case without official verification of Tamannaah’s connection.
