The UAE is experiencing a weak surface pressure system from the east, combined with an upper-air high-pressure system. This weather pattern is expected to bring fair to partly cloudy skies across the region.
According to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), northern areas and islands might see increased cloud cover by late tonight and early Wednesday morning, with a chance of rainfall in some areas.
Key Weather Updates

- Winds: Light to moderate winds are expected, occasionally picking up. Maritime conditions in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea will remain calm, favourable for activities.
- Fog Alerts: Overnight humidity may lead to fog or mist in internal areas, reducing visibility. The NCM has issued red and yellow alerts for foggy conditions, especially in Abu Dhabi’s Sila region, where visibility could drop below 1,000 meters.
As winter approaches, the weather department has noted a slight temperature dip. However, residents may experience humid conditions during the night and early morning. Drivers are advised to exercise caution due to potential fog and low visibility.
