As part of an ambitious initiative to transform education in the future, Sharjah has launched the 7th Access Sharjah Challenge, which offers a substantial Dh500,000 prise to education innovators worldwide. The challenge, spearheaded by the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Center (Sheraa), is inviting innovative solutions that address key gaps in education—from digital access to lifelong learning models.
The focus of this year’s edition is on using creativity and technology to enhance learning opportunities for students of all ages and locations. Organizers say they are looking for bold, scalable ideas that can be applied locally in the UAE and internationally, with the potential to transform traditional education systems.
The challenge underscores Sharjah’s position as a regional hub for innovation and social impact, aligning with the UAE’s broader vision to invest in human capital and digital transformation. Previous Access Sharjah Challenge winners have established important alliances with academic institutions and obtained sizable investments.
Selected finalists will gain access to a tailored acceleration program, mentorship from global experts, and opportunities to pilot their solutions in the UAE. The grand prize of Dh500,000 will be awarded to the startup that demonstrates the highest potential for impact and sustainability.
