Sharjah is mourning the deaths of three young Emirati boys who lost their lives in a horrific car accident during iftar hours. The accident took place when a 13-year-old, driving according to reports, lost control of the car and resulted in a deadly crash.

The accident occurred in Al Madam region, as the teenagers were thought to be returning home for iftar. The authorities confirmed that all three passengers of the car died at the scene due to their injuries. The incident has left the community stunned, with people discussing underage driving and road safety.

Sharjah Police launched an investigation into the accident, asking parents to keep their children in close custody and abide by traffic regulations. “This tragic incident underlines the need for minors to stay away from harmful circumstances such as reckless driving,” stated a top police official.

The community as a whole has come out to support the mourning families, with messages of sympathy flooding social media. Most people are demanding that there be more awareness campaigns regarding the risks associated with underage driving, especially Ramadan when roads get congested in the vicinity of iftar.
