The Jais Sledder, known as the longest toboggan ride in the region, has been out of operation for around a week, as confirmed during a phone inquiry on Thursday.

Although no specific reason was provided for the closure, call center staff suggested it might be due to routine maintenance.

Experience Thrills at Jebel Jais

Jais Sledder is one of eight attractions at Jebel Jais, the UAE’s highest mountain and a hub for thrill-seekers. Visitors can also explore hiking trails or take on the world’s longest zipline in the same area.

A Popular Attraction Since 2022

Since opening in 2022, the Jais Sledder has been a favorite among adventure enthusiasts. For just AED 50 per adult or AED 65 for one adult and a child, riders can speed down the Hajjar mountain at 40km/h while enjoying stunning views of rugged terrain and the coastline.

Recently, the park’s website displayed an advisory stating, “Please note that the Jais Sledder is currently closed, and we thank you for your understanding and patience.” Similarly, its Google listing is marked as “temporarily closed.”
