UAE and Vietnam Strengthen Security Cooperation in High-Level Meeting

During an official visit to the United Arab Emirates, Vietnam’s Deputy Minister of Public Security was received by H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan. He is the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of the UAE.

It was a high-level meeting, which took place in Abu Dhabi. The meeting aimed at enhancing collaborative security efforts between the UAE and Vietnam. It reflects a commitment to strong bilateral relations.

The discussions centered on advancing cooperation in security and law enforcement to fight against crimes. This dialogue highlighted shared intelligence and operational collaboration in addressing cybercrime, human trafficking, and illegal trade, which increasingly affect nations worldwide.

The meeting also focused on the crucial role of advanced technologies in improving government operations. Both countries expressed their commitment to utilizing innovative solutions.

It included artificial intelligence and data analytics, to establish efficient, secure, and forward-thinking public safety frameworks. This strategy aligns with the UAE’s focus on smart governance. It aimed to enhance the quality of life and contribute to global security and peace.

H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed shared the UAE’s plan of building international partnerships that align with the UAE’s vision of a secure and progressive society. Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung shared an interest in areas like cybersecurity, anti-terrorism, and infrastructure protection.

This visit highlights the strong diplomatic ties. It also highlights the shared values between the UAE and Vietnam. Both nations prioritize security, innovation, and sustainable development as core elements of their partnership.
