Etihad Airways, the UAE’s national airline, announced that some flights to Kuwait will be cancelled for four days, starting from October 30 to November 2.

The cancelled flights are between Abu Dhabi’s Zayed International Airport (AUH) and Kuwait (KWI). The affected flights are EY 651 from Abu Dhabi to Kuwait and EY 652 from Kuwait to Abu Dhabi. The airline explained that the cancellations were due to “reasons beyond its control.”

To assist affected customers, Etihad is offering alternative flights or full refunds. Passengers booked on these flights have been contacted directly by the airline.

Etihad encourages passengers to check that their contact details are updated on etihad.com/manage to receive SMS or email updates. Customers needing assistance can also reach Etihad’s support team via phone, live chat, and social media.

Other Etihad flights between Abu Dhabi and Kuwait will still operate during this time. Specifically, flights EY 657, EY 655, and EY 653 will fly from Abu Dhabi to Kuwait on October 30, 31, and November 1. Return flights EY 656, EY 654, and EY 658 are available from Kuwait to Abu Dhabi.
