Following the proclamation of a ceasefire between Iran and Israel, the presidents of the UAE and Iran held talks to discuss recent regional developments, which was a significant diplomatic move. The UAE welcomed the truce, describing it as a critical step toward de-escalation and regional stability.

The high-level conversation focused on the importance of restraint, dialogue, and cooperation among regional players to prevent further conflict. Both leaders expressed a shared interest in preserving peace and avoiding actions that could reignite hostilities.

The president of the United Arab Emirates underlined the nation’s dedication to regional diplomacy, humanitarian principles, and amicable dispute settlement. He called for sustained international efforts to address the root causes of instability in the Middle East.

Iran’s president also welcomed the UAE’s support and highlighted the need for a unified regional voice in promoting security. The leaders agreed to maintain open channels of communication to navigate this sensitive period and ensure the ceasefire holds.
