UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and Vice Presidents Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan congratulated King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on Saudi Founding Day, in testament to the warm relationship between the two countries.

The UAE leaders also sent their warmest congratulations to Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, thanking the kingdom for its rich history and its great contribution to the region. They reaffirmed their dedication to deepening bilateral relations and promoting ongoing cooperation between the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

Founding Day, commemorated every year on February 22, commemorates the founding of the First Saudi State in 1727 by Imam Muhammad bin Saud. The day symbolizes the kingdom’s rich history, strength, and leadership throughout the centuries.

The UAE and Saudi Arabia have strong cultural, economic, and political alliances, and this message of friendship emphasizes their strong brotherly relationship and strategic cooperation in the region.
