On Tuesday, November 5, 2024, the UAE Ministry of Education announced the exam schedules for the first term for grades 3 to 12 in government and private schools that follow the Ministry’s curriculum.

The exams will start on Wednesday, November 27, covering Group A subjects, which include core subjects, and will continue until December 12. There will be a break for National Day celebrations, and all final tasks and projects for Group B subjects must be submitted between November 20 and 26.

The Ministry provided eight key rules for the exams, stating that students in grades 3 and 4 will take paper-based exams at school. For grades 5 and 9 in government schools, all education tracks will also have paper-based exams. In private schools, students in general and advanced tracks in grades 5 and 9 will have exams in both paper and electronic formats. Grade 12 students will have an electronic exam for English.

Additionally, students in grades 5 to 12 in both public and private schools will take exams in person, using a mix of paper and electronic formats based on the subject and grade level.

Grade 12 students from private schools will take their exams in public schools under supervision, and students in tolerance schools will follow the instructions from their school branches for the exam process.

The Ministry highlighted the need for students to wear official school uniforms and encouraged them to bring their personal computers to the exam sessions.

Grade 12 students across all tracks (general, advanced, and elite) will begin their exams on November 27 with physics, while students in the applied track will have an applied science exam. The next day, all students will take the English language exam.

On December 5, they will have chemistry, followed by Islamic studies on December 6. Mathematics is set for December 9, Arabic for December 10, and social studies for December 11, finishing the exams for applied track students. The exams for general, advanced, and elite tracks will end on December 12 with biology.
