The US has made it easier for Emiratis to travel with a fast-track entry program.
Following the announcement in September, the UAE Ministry of Interior and the US Department of Homeland Security have officially added Emirati citizens to the “Global Entry” program.
This program will allow UAE citizens with a US visa to enter the United States more quickly. It aims to make travel smoother for Emiratis at over 75 US entry points.
The “Global Entry” program enables UAE citizens to visit the US for tourism, business, and personal reasons.
Travelers will enjoy faster entry at special transit gates in US airports, improving their travel experience and strengthening the close ties between the UAE and the US.
Both governments signed an agreement between the UAE Ministry of Interior and the US Department of Homeland Security during UAE President Sheikh Mohamed’s official visit to the US.
To apply, interested individuals must submit their information on the official website at https://ttp.dhs.gov/.
After submitting, they will go through a security background check and can use automated verification systems at ports, which will help reduce wait times and paperwork. It’s important to note that travelers still need a valid US entry visa.
