UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and King Abdullah II of Jordan reaffirmed their resolve for robust fraternal relations during a meeting in Abu Dhabi. Regional stability, economic cooperation, and enhancing diplomatic ties between the two countries were discussed.
After the negotiations, Sheikh Mohamed treated King Abdullah and his visiting delegation to an iftar banquet. The event marked the UAE’s strong relationship with Jordan, its emphasis on values and commonalities, as well as shared interests.
The two leaders also touched on Middle East security and initiatives to bring peace to the region. The meeting reaffirmed a long-time alliance, as both countries vowed to cooperate in economic and humanitarian affairs.
