UAE President Talks with French, Italian Leaders on Enhanced Bilateral Relations & Regional Stability

In an attempt to further strategic partnerships, UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan conducted individual calls with French President Emmanuel Macron and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni. The two leaders discussed strengthening bilateral cooperation and key developments in the Middle East and other regions.

The leaders discussed urgent regional matters, with a focus on promoting stability, peace, and development in troubled regions. They also discussed possibilities of increasing partnerships in energy, technology, trade, and defense, strengthening longstanding diplomatic and economic relations between the UAE and European countries.

President Sheikh Mohamed reasserted the UAE’s commitment to constructive international dialogue and multilateral cooperation towards solving global challenges. The discussions take place during a time of increased geopolitical transformations, when cooperation among allies continues to be paramount in advancing mutual interests and security.

The calls represent the UAE’s increasing position as a sustaining diplomatic and economic middleman between the Middle East and Europe. The UAE, France, and Italy share visions on sustainable development and regional peace, and they are set to amplify their trilateral influence on global platforms.
