UAE Reaches Out with Medical Supplies to Remote Area Near Yemen

The Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) recently delivered essential medicines and medical supplies to a health unit in the remote area of Ad-Dees Ash-Sharqia in Hadramaut Governorate. This initiative is part of the UAE’s continuous support for Yemen’s healthcare system.

This humanitarian action aligns with the UAE’s mission to reduce the hardships faced by residents in isolated regions with limited access to medical care. By developing 10 health centers across eastern districts, the UAE is addressing worsening conditions and service gaps, helping reduce the need for long-distance travel for medical treatment.

Alongside delivering supplies, the ERC’s mobile clinic offered free medical services, including check-ups and treatments, to make basic healthcare accessible to residents.

Local residents expressed gratitude for the ERC’s aid, encouraging more partnerships between humanitarian organizations and the healthcare sector to foster long-term development and community well-being.

Through ERC’s initiatives, the UAE remains dedicated to supporting underserved areas, aiming to restore hope and improve living standards in eastern Hadramaut by providing essential healthcare.
