Two UAE schools — one in Dubai and another in Umm Al Quwain — have secured coveted spots in the global top 10 shortlist for the 2025 World’s Best School Prizes. These institutions are being recognized for excellence in categories such as community collaboration, environmental impact, and innovative teaching practices.
The prize, organized by global education platform T4 Education, honors schools that are driving positive change in their communities and beyond. Dubai’s shortlisted school is competing in the Innovation category, showcasing transformative teaching methods that integrate technology, creativity, and student-led initiatives.
In the meantime, the Umm Al Quwain school is receiving praise for its inclusive outreach initiatives and sustainable practices in the Community and Environment categories.
Being named among the top 10 finalists places these schools on a global stage and opens the door for additional funding, international partnerships, and mentorship opportunities. Winners in each category will receive a share of the $250,000 prize fund, aimed at scaling their impact further.
This recognition highlights the UAE’s growing reputation as a hub for forward-thinking education and reaffirms its commitment to nurturing inclusive, sustainable, and future-ready learning environments. Final winners will be announced later this year following public voting and jury evaluations.
