UAE Telecom e& Warns Customers About Fake Social Media Offers

UAE telecom provider e& has warned its customers about fake offers circulating on social media platforms.

Details of the Fake Offere& Alerts Customers

One such scam is a WhatsApp message claiming users can get a free 53GB data package in celebration of UAE’s 53rd National Day, now known as Eid Al Etihad.

Details of the Fake Offer

The fraudulent message reads:
“UAE 53rd National Day special offer: 53GB available on all networks. I got mine! It’s valid for three months.”

The message also includes a suspicious link urging users to “Click here.”

e& Alerts Customers

In response, e& posted on Instagram:

“Stay alert. Ignore suspicious links and always verify offers before clicking.”

The telecom provider also issued a warning on X (formerly Twitter), saying:

“Beware of fake offers. Always check links before clicking.”

Stay cautious and only rely on official sources to confirm promotional offers.
