The UAE is sending 40,000 school bags to Lebanon under the guidance of Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra Region and Chairman of the Emirates Red Crescent.

This initiative is part of the ‘UAE with Lebanon’ campaign and aims to ensure the continuity of education in Lebanon.

The ‘UAE with Lebanon’ campaign, launched by President Sheikh Mohamed, demonstrates the UAE’s commitment to supporting Lebanon’s education sector amidst ongoing challenges. This step reflects the UAE’s broader efforts to promote education and assist communities in need.

Omar Sultan Al Olama, UAE Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence and Chairman of the Digital School, emphasized that the project aligns with the UAE’s mission to create hope, provide opportunities, and support communities in building a brighter future.

He highlighted that the Digital School initiative offers innovative and sustainable education solutions, helping children in underprivileged areas worldwide gain access to learning.

On October 30, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, directed efforts to support Lebanon’s education sector through the Digital School. This program is designed to address the tough circumstances facing Lebanon due to current events.

Dr. Hamdan Musallam Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the Emirates Red Crescent Authority, noted that the UAE has always been among the first to recognize its responsibility toward Lebanon and provide the necessary support.
