The UAE’s tallest mountain, Jebel Jais, recorded a frosty low of 3.2°C, marking one of the coldest temperatures in the region. The dip comes as residents experience the effects of winter’s arrival, with chilly winds and cooler evenings becoming the norm. The mountain remains a popular destination for tourists and adventure enthusiasts, especially during colder months when the crisp weather accentuates the picturesque scenery.

The National Center of Meteorology said the country can expect cloudy weather with declining temperatures over the coming hours. Inland areas will see a greater cooling effect, while light to moderate winds will enhance the bite of the cold. Coastal areas will also drop, making for the season.

The drastic fall in temperature has created much enthusiasm among the people of UAE as they eagerly take their winter outings. The cool climate ranges from bonfires to mountain treks, bringing together families and friends to spend quality time outdoors. The authorities have requested caution when people visit the mountains due to the cooler climate and frequent gusts of wind.

As the mercury drops, residents are encouraged to stay updated with weather forecasts and plan activities accordingly. With the promise of even cooler days, it’s the perfect time to enjoy the UAE’s unique winter offerings.
