Weather Overview

A low-pressure system near the surface from the east will meet a colder upper air low-pressure system from the west. This mix, along with an upper-level jet stream, will bring increasing cloud cover and potential rainfall.

Wednesday Night to Friday Morning:

  • Cloud cover will increase from late Wednesday night, first affecting western regions.
  • Clouds will move toward coastal areas, islands, and northern and eastern parts, bringing chances of rainfall on Thursday.

Friday Noon Onward

  • By midday Friday, cloud cover will decrease.
  • Expect a drop in temperatures.

Wind Conditions

  • Winds will shift from northeasterly to northwesterly and remain moderate to fresh.
  • At times, strong southeasterly winds over the sea could cause dust and sand on land, reducing visibility.

Sea Conditions

  • Arabian Gulf: Rough to very rough seas expected Thursday and Friday.
  • Oman Sea: Conditions will range from moderate to rough.

Precautions and Recommendations

  • Be cautious during outdoor activities.
  • Drivers should watch for low visibility due to dust and sand.
  • Fishermen and seafarers should avoid rough seas until weather conditions improve.

Stay updated through the UAE National Meteorology Center’s official channels for the latest weather forecasts and advisories.
