The UAE’s National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued red and yellow weather alerts for Al Dhafra due to heavy fog, which has significantly reduced visibility in the area. Motorists are advised to drive cautiously and adhere to safety guidelines.

The dense fog is expected to linger during the early hours, affecting road safety and travel plans. Authorities are encouraging residents to stay informed about weather updates and to avoid unnecessary travel when visibility is low.

The NCM’s alerts are intended to ensure public safety as the weather conditions pose challenges for commuters. While foggy conditions are typical for this time of year, the severity of the current situation has led to increased warnings.

Residents in Al Dhafra and nearby areas are reminded to use fog lights, slow down, and keep a safe distance from other vehicles. The Met Office will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as conditions change.
