Warning.

This cold snap has led weather experts to issue warnings about rough seas and strong winds that are expected to stir up dust in various areas across the country. Residents and visitors in the affected regions are advised to take precautions as conditions worsen.

This cool weather is attributed to a deepening cold front moving through the region, bringing in cooler air from the north. Meteorologists predict that temperatures in both coastal and inland areas will remain below average, with highs struggling to exceed 24°C. As the weather continues to change, strong winds are expected, with gusts potentially reaching up to 40 km/h, making outdoor activities less favorable.

Authorities are particularly worried about the effects of rough seas along the coastline. The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued alerts urging caution for those at sea, especially in the Arabian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman, where waves could rise significantly due to the strong winds. Mariners are advised to exercise extreme caution and stay updated on weather reports before heading out onto the waters.

In addition to wind and sea hazards, the NCM has warned of potential dust storms in areas susceptible to loose sand and dry conditions, especially in the central and eastern regions of the UAE. Dust and reduced visibility may pose risks for travelers, particularly on highways and rural roads. Authorities encourage residents to stay informed and prioritize safety by following official advisories.

For real-time weather updates, keep an eye on the National Center of Meteorology.
