UAE Weather: Rain Hits Abu Dhabi, Cloudy Skies Across the Country

Rain has been falling in Abu Dhabi, with cloudy skies prevailing throughout the UAE. The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) issued a rain alert for several regions, predicting that wet weather will continue from December 23 to December 26.

Abu Dhabi has experienced light to moderate showers in various locations, creating a cool and refreshing environment for residents. Other emirates, such as Dubai, Sharjah, and Ajman, are also seeing partly cloudy conditions, with a possibility of rain during this time.

A low-pressure system affecting the area is expected to bring intermittent rainfall, cooler temperatures, and moderate to strong winds. Coastal and northern regions are likely to experience the heaviest downpours.

Motorists are urged to exercise caution, as slippery roads and reduced visibility during rain can create safety hazards. The NCM has also issued warnings about rough sea conditions in the Arabian Gulf, advising fishermen and seafarers to stay informed about weather updates.

Stay tuned for more updates on the weather across the UAE.
