Light Rains and Cloudy Skies Expected Across UAE on Thursday: Stay Prepared

The UAE is anticipating a shift in weather on Thursday, with light rain expected, especially in the eastern and northern regions of the country. The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) reports that much of the nation will see partially to fully cloudy skies, indicating a change in weather patterns.

As temperatures decrease, residents should prepare for a humid night, with the possibility of fog or light fog developing in some inland areas, particularly by Friday morning. This could lead to significantly reduced visibility in certain locations, posing challenges for drivers and outdoor activities.

Wind Conditions and Seas
Winds are expected to shift from the southeast to northwest, ranging from light to moderate breezes, with occasional gusts that may reach up to 40 km/h. While the winds are not anticipated to be particularly strong, they could still cause minor disruptions for outdoor plans or transportation.

In the meantime, the Arabian Gulf will see moderate to rough waves, with high tides occurring at 11:34 am and 12:19 am, and low tides at 6:03 pm and 5:43 am. These tidal changes could present risks for seafarers and those involved in coastal activities. Conversely, the Gulf of Oman will have mild seas, with high tides at 9:04 pm and 7:58 am, and low tides at 2:34 am and 2:14 pm.

Safety Precautions
The NCM has advised residents to exercise caution as the weather front moves through the region, keeping an eye on forecast updates and adjusting plans as needed. Whether driving in reduced visibility or planning a trip to the beach, staying informed about weather conditions is essential for safety.

Stay tuned to official weather advisories for further updates as the weather front progresses across the UAE.
