UAE Weekend Weather: Dusty Winds, High Humidity & Choppy Seas Ahead

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) of the UAE issued a weekend weather alert, predicting a combination of fair to partly cloudy weather over the country. Citizens need to prepare for increasing humidity levels, especially in the evenings and early mornings, which could result in the formation of fog or mist over some coastal and internal regions.

Besides the humidity, the nation will witness moderate to fresh winds that have the potential to stir blowing dust and sand, mostly in open spaces. There could be reduced visibility in some instances, hence drivers are encouraged to be cautious while driving, particularly during early morning journeys or late night driving.

Both Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea sea conditions will be slight to moderate but rough at times due to the prevailing winds. Authorities have asked beachgoers and operators of small vessels to remain informed of marine forecasts before heading out.

The NCM remains closely watchful of the weather and urges people to remain aware through official sources. With conditions forecast to change over the weekend, people are requested to plan their outdoor events accordingly.
