In a significant effort to reduce bureaucracy, the UAE’s Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) has introduced new measures to simplify work and residency processes, cutting processing times from days to mere minutes and achieving reductions of up to 100% for certain services. This initiative is part of the UAE’s ambitious Zero Government Bureaucracy Programme, led by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

As part of this programme, the MoHRE is eliminating many procedural requirements, streamlining documentation, and enhancing service delivery. By utilizing digital platforms and incorporating advanced technology, the ministry aims to position the UAE’s work and residency processes among the most efficient globally. This initiative not only supports businesses and expatriates but also enhances the UAE’s attractiveness as a global center for talent and enterprise.

These reforms are part of the UAE’s broader vision to establish a seamless and accessible government system that caters to both residents and investors. By removing unnecessary steps and speeding up service timelines, the MoHRE seeks to create an environment where individuals and businesses can flourish with minimal administrative obstacles. Consequently, the UAE reinforces its reputation as a nation where efficiency and innovation are at the forefront of public service and economic growth.
