Dubai Metro Service Disrupted by 'Technical Issue'; RTA Alerts Passengers of Delays
SHARE

Dubai Metro operations are now “back to normal” after experiencing a technical glitch that led to delays, according to the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) on Thursday.

Earlier, around 9:40 a.m., the RTA informed commuters about service interruptions towards Centrepoint station and in the area between Equiti and Max stations. The authority attributed the delays to ‘technical issues’ during the busy morning rush hour when trains are typically crowded with passengers. Alternative bus services were provided for travelers between the affected stations.

The RTA successfully resolved the issue and restored full services approximately 20 minutes after the delays were first reported.
