Popular YouTubers Ranveer Allahbadia and Apoorva Mukhija openly apologized to the National Commission for Women (NCW) after they were severely criticized for their controversial comments on ‘India’s Got Latent’. The two held a meeting with NCW officials to discuss concerns regarding their offensive jokes, which were openly criticized as insensitive and inappropriate.

The outrage broke out after excerpts from the talent search show, whose comments were considered crass and offensive. Activists, social media users, as well as public figures, called out the producers for not being sensitive enough, which necessitated an official statement from the NCW.

In their apology, Allahbadia and Mukhija owned up to their error, promising that they would be more careful in future content. They also reiterated their dedication to responsible content creation, recognizing the influence they have over young viewers.
